Our client, a leader in secure cryptographic solutions, is seeking a HSM Engineer to join their team. As a HSM Engineer, you will be part of the Security Infrastructure Department supporting cryptographic operations and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Chandler, AZ/ Omaha, NE (5 days onsite a week)
Pay Range: $50
What's the Job?
- Manage the full lifecycle of HSM appliances, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance
- Support cryptographic key management processes and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Perform firmware upgrades, troubleshooting outages, and incident resolution
- Create detailed technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams
- Serve as a backup key custodian for sensitive cryptographic operations
What's Needed?
- 3–5 years of experience in HSM administration and cryptographic operations
- Hands-on experience with HSM vendors such as Thales, Entrust, or Futurex
- Strong understanding of PKI, digital certificates, and key management practices
- Familiarity with security standards like FIPS 140-2/140-3, PCI-DSS, and NIST guidelines
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks
