Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Sr. Developer - SWI001462 to join their dynamic team. As a Sr. Developer - SWI001462, you will be an integral part of the Security Initiatives Department supporting innovative projects aimed at preparing systems and applications for post-quantum technology readiness. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaborative spirit, and a passion for continuous learning, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer (C++)
Location: Manassas, Virginia (Hybrid, 3 days onsite a week)
Pay Range: $65 - $70/hr W2
What's the Job?
- Develop and enhance security-focused applications, especially Swift systems, to ensure post-quantum technology readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design effective solutions.
- Work independently on medium complexity tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Contribute to the development of secure systems by leveraging expertise in C++, RHEL Unix, Shell scripting, and Python.
- Assist in integrating PKI solutions and provide support for Java-based components when necessary.
What's Needed?
- Proficiency in C++, RHEL Unix, Shell scripting, and Python is mandatory.
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is a plus.
- Some Java experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret requirements and contribute to solution design.
