Manual Tester

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Manual Tester to join their team. As a Manual Tester, you will be part of the Software Development team supporting payments applications. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manual Tester

Location: Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

• Support the SWIFT development team by executing manual testing procedures for payments applications
• Develop and maintain detailed test cases and scripts to ensure software quality
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and other test management tools
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and improve processes
• Participate in review meetings to ensure testing aligns with project requirements and standards

What's Needed?

• Strong manual testing experience, ideally with Octane or HP ALM, or transferable test case management skills
• Proficiency with JIRA for issue tracking and project management
• 5+ years of overall experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Experience or familiarity with payments, SWIFT, or transaction processing is a plus
