Software Test Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in healthcare innovation, is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join their team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be part of the R&D department supporting the development of life-changing medical technologies.  
 

Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay rate: $50 per hour
 

What's the Job?

• Lead software testing workstreams across multiple device ecosystems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with software developers to produce clear, concise design and test documentation.
• Implement and utilize static and dynamic unit testing tools and methodologies.
• Support validation processes for non-product software in accordance with FDA, EU-MDR, and ISO standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing procedures and quality assurance practices.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 software test methodologies, including unit, integration, and system testing.
• Experience with software validation in regulated environments, including FDA 21 CFR Part 820, EU-MDR, and ISO 13485.
