Our client, a leading organization in data-driven solutions, is seeking a PySpark/TeraData Engineer to join their team. As a PySpark/TeraData Engineer, you will be part of the Data Analytics Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Operate across legacy enterprise data warehouse ecosystems, specifically Teradata, to support existing business applications.
- Design, develop, enhance, and support applications that integrate with various business components using established frameworks and technologies.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application and process issues, coordinating with customer-facing support teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and analyze the potential impact of change requests.
- Communicate work progress regularly with management, identifying issues early and resolving them efficiently to minimize project impact.
What's Needed?
- 4+ years of experience with end-to-end application development on Teradata data-warehouse and analytical platforms.
- 2+ years of experience with Big Data Technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark.
- Proficiency in developing complex SQL-based ETL workflows using native utilities like BTEQ, TPT, and FastExport.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting and scheduling tools like Autosys.
- Experience working with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Impala, Kafka, and Python/Spark/PySpark workloads.
