Validation Specialist

Our client, a leader in biotechnology and serving science, is seeking a Validation Specialist to join their team. As a Validation Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Department supporting laboratory and software validation processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Validation Specialist

Location: 100% Remote

Pay Rate: $45/hr.

Job Type: 6-month contract with the potential to hire

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm EST

What's the Job?

• Provide essential validation support for new software releases and system modifications throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, and validation summary reports to ensure system compliance and performance.
• Review and approve change controls, ensuring test scripts meet functional requirements and business expectations.
• Collaborate with project teams to facilitate system upgrades, performance qualification, and validation activities.
• Assist in preparing for audits and representing departments during client and sponsor audits, including vendor assessments.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience in validation or related fields.
• Strong understanding of computer systems validation, SDLC, and regulatory requirements such as GCPs and SOPs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
• Experience working in clinical trials or laboratory environments is highly desirable.
