Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Technical Engineering Manager to join their team. As a Technical Engineering Manager, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting software development and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for mentoring teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Remote

Pay Range:  $160,000 - $180,000

  • Lead and grow an agile engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Contribute directly to technical delivery by writing code, conducting reviews, and guiding architectural decisions.
  • Drive modernization efforts within the technology stack, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate progress, and align technical initiatives with business objectives.
  • Mentor and develop team members through structured growth opportunities and fostering a collaborative environment.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • 4+ years leading teams in an agile/scrum environment.
  • Active hands-on experience with C# .NET and Angular codebases.
  • Strong understanding of modern software architecture, cloud-native patterns, and enterprise application development.
