Vehicle Validation / Performance Testing Engineer

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive industry, is seeking a Vehicle Validation / Performance Testing Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Vehicle Validation / Performance Testing Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle Development Department supporting vehicle integration, testing, and validation processes.  

Job Title: Vehicle Validation / Performance Testing Engineer

Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan

Pay Range: $29 per hour
 

What's the Job?

• Issue and manage documentation for issue resolution across multiple vehicle disciplines.
• Support vehicle integration by ensuring the fleet has current software and hardware, and collect data as needed.
• Provide mule vehicle support and resolve mule-related issues.
• Manage Connected Services, Vehicle Access, Start, & Security features to meet customer expectations and vehicle milestones.
• Conduct CFD analysis, develop test plans, and oversee over-the-road testing for assigned programs.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle testing and system validation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing suppliers and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with TeamCenter, NX, VisProfessional viewer, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
