Site Reliability Engineer

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting global teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a passion for innovative platform solutions, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Concord, CA

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain end-to-end observability and monitoring solutions across workstation, network, and backend layers.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues to ensure optimal platform performance.
• Leverage observability/monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk to analyze metrics and implement proactive alerting.
• Support scaling environments and optimize system performance in distributed systems and platform infrastructure.
• Collaborate with global teams, including offshore support, to ensure seamless platform operations and continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education.
• Expertise in platform engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with a focus on non-application development.
• Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with distributed systems, platform infrastructure, and supporting scaling environments.
• Willingness to work onsite 3 days per week, with early start times to coordinate with global teams, especially India.
