Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in consumer products and research, is seeking a LAB Technician I to join their team. As a LAB Technician I, you will be part of the Consumer Products Lab supporting research, development, and quality control initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LAB Technician 

Location: Maplewood, MN (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $18 to $22
Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Conduct physical and mechanical tests to evaluate product quality and safety
• Prepare materials and organize setups for various product testing procedures
• Assist in laboratory experiments by testing and evaluating new materials and products based on research protocols
• Perform mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control
• Perform visual observations on competitor product samples and communicate results effectively

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of hands-on testing experience in a laboratory setting
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field
• Ability to perform hands-on testing using laboratory equipment
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills to relay test results clearly
