Our client, a leading organization in the technology space, is seeking a Senior IT Technical Lead to join their team. As a Senior IT Technical Lead, you will be part of the IT organization supporting cross-functional business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills which will align successfully within the organization.

What’s the Job?

  • Lead technical architecture and implementation across multiple concurrent, large-scale IT projects.

  • Manage all technical aspects of cross-functional initiatives including software selection, integration, and infrastructure planning.

  • Lead integration of COTS applications into legacy environments, including AS/400 systems.

  • Conduct product evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.

  • Oversee and guide onsite and offshore development teams, including project planning, estimates, and delivery timelines.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of IT experience, including technical architecture and solution design.

  • Strong background in software development with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, C++, RPG (RPG IV / RPGLE), SQL, APIs, and web services.

  • Experience working within AS/400 environments and integrating legacy systems (ETL, ESB, or EDI preferred).

  • Experience leading development teams and working within cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
