Receiving Inspection Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing and quality organization is seeking a Receiving Inspection Technician to join their team. As a Receiving Inspection Technician, you will be part of the Site Quality team supporting day-to-day Receiving Inspection (RI) activities within the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD). The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and clear communication which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Review purchase orders, packing slips, certificates, drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions to confirm requirements before inspection.
• Verify incoming material identity, quantity, labeling, condition, and required documentation using approved methods.
• Perform visual and basic measurement inspections using approved tools and procedures, then record results accurately in the applicable system.
• Identify, label, and segregate damaged, discrepant, or nonconforming materials; escalate discrepancies or suspected nonconformances for review.
• Support the Receiving Inspection process by maintaining organized records, tracking RI metrics, and assisting with approved process improvement actions as assigned.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and record inspection results accurately.
• Ability to use basic computer applications and learn site systems.
• Ability to complete required training and follow established procedures.
• Receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, inspection, or quality experience is preferred.
