Medical Billing Specialist

Our client, Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be part of the Revenue Cycle Management team supporting the billing and patient account resolution workflow. The ideal candidate will have strong medical billing and insurance knowledge, the ability to interpret EOBs accurately, and a customer-focused mindset that supports timely, quality outcomes.

Pay Range: $22 to 25

What's the Job?

• Handle inbound calls related to billing statement inquiries
• Follow up on outstanding patient balances with accuracy and professionalism
• Interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) to support resolution of unpaid accounts
• Resolve unpaid accounts efficiently while meeting quality and productivity standards
• Support Revenue Cycle Management processes as part of a healthcare billing workflow

What's Needed?

• Strong medical billing and insurance knowledge
• Experience with customer service in a healthcare setting
• Ability to interpret EOBs
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Be prepared for pre-screening and interview questions focused on required billing and EOB interpretation skills
