Our banking client is seeking a Golang Engineer with Temporal workflow orchestration to join their team. As a Golang Engineer, you will be part of the engineering organization supporting backend services and workflow-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on Golang development experience, Temporal workflow orchestration experience, and the ability to build reliable, fault-tolerant services using modern workflow orchestration technologies.

Job Title: Golang Engineer with Temporal workflow orchestration 

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (hybrid)

Pay Range: 50-54/hr W2; 60-62/hr c2c

Duration: 6-12+ month contract 

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed applications using Golang.
• Build and manage workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal, including workflow definitions, activities, task queues, and execution management.
• Develop reliable, fault-tolerant applications that support long-running workflows, asynchronous processing, and distributed transactions.
• Design and implement APIs, microservices, and service integrations to support enterprise application and platform capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex application, workflow, and distributed system issues across development and production environments.

What's Needed?

• Strong hands-on software development experience using Golang (Go), with demonstrated proficiency in developing production-grade applications and backend services.
• Strong understanding of Go fundamentals, including concurrency, goroutines, channels, interfaces, error handling, and memory management.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, including asynchronous processing, service communication, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Experience with software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
