SAP Group Reporting Lead

Our client, life sciences industry, is seeking a ERP Developer - SAP to join their team. As a ERP Developer - SAP, you will be part of the SAP Group Reporting workstream supporting end-to-end delivery of SAP Group Reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong ownership, clear communication, and a commitment to quality—aligning successfully in the organization.

Job Title: SAP Group Reporting Lead

Location: Chicago, IL (100% Remote)
Travel: Occasional travel may be required based on project and client needs. All approved business travel expenses will be covered by the company.

Pay Range: $100-$105 on W2

What's the Job?

• Lead the design, validation, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare support of SAP Group Reporting capabilities.
• Serve as the primary functional and technical point of contact for Group Reporting-related workstreams, including transitioning from old to new reporting logic.
• Support additional consolidation processes including currency simulations and related Group Reporting activities such as ICMR, GRDC, GRPL activation, and consolidation workflows.
• Coordinate data integration and data migration activities, including security requirements and ensuring reporting readiness for cutover and go-live.
• Drive issue resolution and defect management, and provide leadership through knowledge transfer and transition to production support.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Consolidations Reporting and Close, including GRDC, GRPL, and ICMR.
• Proficiency with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and the ability to support reporting and consolidation use cases.
• Experience with SAP programming and development, including familiarity with SAP integrations and interfaces.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, plus experience in data integration, migration, and testing.
