Veterinary Product Advisor

Our client, Veterinary Services is seeking a Veterinary Product Advisor to join their team. As a Veterinary Product Advisor, you will be part of the Customer & Veterinary Support team supporting Veterinary professionals and pet owners. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service instincts, the ability to communicate technical and nutritional information clearly, and a drive to help customers find the right solutions which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Saint Louis, Missouri (Open to remote candidates; however, candidates located in St. Louis are highly preferred.)

What's the Job?

• Communicate detailed technical and nutritional information about Purina Pro Plan Veterinary products to veterinary professionals and consumers to support recommendations and purchases.
• Provide dietary management advice and product guidance for pets with certain health conditions, ensuring responses are accurate, friendly, and timely.
• Serve as a primary contact for veterinary professionals and consumers through phone and internet/social channels, including Purina for Professional and Veterinary & Vet Products Consumer service lines.
• Support online store customer service by resolving issues such as login problems, returns/refunds, available credits, and general delivery questions.
• Investigate and resolve veterinary product complaints, maintain awareness of competitive activity and customer concerns, and report issues promptly.

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of customer service experience (veterinary clinic, animal science, or nutrition background preferred).
• High school diploma required with 2 years work experience, or 4 years work experience in business/customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to learn and confidently explain technical and nutritional product information, program specifics, and promotions.
• Comfort supporting multi-channel communication (phone, email/internet, chat, and social media) with consistent, channel-appropriate messaging.
