Senior Analyst, Category Management (Third-Party Risk)

Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst, Category Management (Third-Party Risk) to join their team. As a Senior Analyst, Category Management (Third-Party Risk), you will be part of the Category Management organization supporting the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) function. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder communication, analytical risk-quantification skills, and the drive to build and improve a program from the ground up—translating findings into practical actions that reduce exposure.

Job Title: Senior Analyst, Category Management (Third-Party Risk)

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio

Pay Range: $40/hr+

What's the Job?

  • Support vendor risk management across direct and indirect suppliers, with indirect requests currently prioritized.
  • Help build and roll out an internal third-party risk management (TPRM) assessment platform and companywide strategy.
  • Conduct vendor due diligence, identify risks, and develop and execute action plans to reduce exposure.
  • Use sound judgment to assess acceptable risk and align with business stakeholders on risk decisions, including decisions involving relatively small risks.
  • Bring TPRM experience and lessons learned about what has—and has not—worked in other programs to strengthen execution and outcomes.

What's Needed?

  • Third-party risk expertise: experience assessing vendors, conducting due diligence, and translating findings into practical mitigation plans (with breadth beyond a narrow risk specialty).
  • Financial and analytical capability: ability to analyze company balance sheets, quantify risk, use statistical methods, and clearly explain potential financial impact.
  • Sanctions screening experience: experience screening for sanctions and reviewing results.
  • Stakeholder communication and influence: ability to explain identified risks, serve as a liaison with vendors, and work constructively with internal stakeholders and suppliers; comfortable preparing presentations and platform demonstrations for sourcing leadership and supporting rollout to tens of thousands of people.
  • Project management and ownership: ability to create roadmaps, set milestones, coordinate teams, and manage multiple projects—guiding work from an ambiguous starting point through execution.

What's in it for me?

  • Opportunity to help shape and scale an internal TPRM assessment platform and companywide strategy.
  • Chance to apply risk judgment that balances exposure reduction with business alignment.
  • Work that combines vendor due diligence, financial risk analysis, and sanctions screening in one role.
  • Visibility with sourcing leadership through presentations, demonstrations, and rollout support.
  • Ownership of roadmaps, milestones, and process documentation that strengthen long-term program effectiveness.
