PeopleSoft Functional-Technical Business Systems Analyst

Our client is seeking a PeopleSoft Functional-Technical Business Systems Analyst to join their team. As a PeopleSoft Functional-Technical Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Business Systems organization supporting enterprise PeopleSoft operations and related integrations. The ideal candidate will bring a consultative mindset, strong analytical problem-solving, and clear communication skills that help bridge business needs with technical implementation.

Location: Hybrid

Pay Range:$57.00 to $61.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Investigate complex PeopleSoft issues by analyzing business processes, system behavior, data, and integrations to recommend practical solutions.
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements for enhancements, integrations, reporting, and process improvements.
• Act as a liaison between functional departments, Business Systems Analysts, developers, vendors, and other technical resources to keep work aligned and actionable.
• Troubleshoot PeopleSoft application, data, integration, security, and process-related problems using PeopleSoft tools and SQL research.
• Support testing and rollout activities, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, while documenting findings and recommended next steps.

What's Needed?

• Significant experience in senior-level business systems analysis, preferably supporting enterprise ERP applications.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and the ability to work comfortably at a technical level for analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis experience, including testing support and system implementation involvement.
• Working knowledge of SQL, PeopleSoft Query, and relational database concepts to validate system behavior and research data.
• Functional-technical understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, data structures, security, integrations, and batch processes, including the ability to review technical components (e.g., PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, SQR) without serving as a primary developer.
