Automotive Product Quality Specialist

Our client is seeking an Automotive Product Quality Specialist to join a fast-paced quality organization focused on standardizing manufacturing quality enablers. Job Title:Automotive Product Quality Specialist

Location:Toledo, OH (Onsite)

Pay Range: $30 - $40/hr 

What's the Job?

• Perform root cause analysis of quality issues using advanced problem-solving tools (e.g., Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, Design of Experiments) and recommend cost-effective permanent corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data from internal and external indicators, manage engineering changes with cross-functional teams, and help ensure timely execution.
• Conduct product evaluation tests to validate robustness of product or process changes before full implementation.
• Serve as a point of contact for engineering quality and product-related incidents, ensuring clear communication and follow-through.
• Deliver third-party quality metrics, identify new opportunities through creative data analysis, and support standardization in a lean environment.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Experience with advanced problem-solving tools (Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, Design of Experiments, etc.).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Ability to collect, synthesize, and communicate data clearly to drive decisions across the organization.
• Experience and working knowledge of computer systems and software required for quality and engineering work.
