Job Title: Epic Willow Consultant

Pay Range: $70 - $85/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Elicit, document, and validate comprehensive pharmacy initiative requirements across inpatient (80%) and ambulatory (20%) workflows, including workflow, data, and reporting impacts.
  • Provide SME-level oversight through project phases by clarifying requirements, resolving ambiguity, surfacing risks/issues early, and escalating concerns appropriately.
  • Support UAT planning and execution with application SME oversight, including test script development, defect capture/triage, contingency planning, and post-go-live stabilization documentation.

What's Needed?

  • 5–7 years of experience in pharmacy business systems analysis or a related pharmacy-focused technical role (e.g., data analyst, project coordinator).
  • Epic Willow (Pharmacy) Certification is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit and document requirements, facilitate working sessions, and produce clear, build-ready, and test-ready artifacts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to translate between operational pharmacy stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet/Chat) and the ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent priorities in a fully remote setting.

What's in it for me?

  • Opportunity to directly shape pharmacy-focused Epic workflows that impact ordering, verification, dispensing, and medication administration (including MAR/BCMA).
  • Clear ownership of business analysis deliverables for the Pharmacy IT Application Owner, with structured stakeholder engagement.
  • Hands-on involvement in interface/integration requirements using HL7/FHIR concepts to support end-to-end workflow and data reconciliation.
  • Role clarity with BA lens implementation oversight (not project management), helping you focus on requirements, readiness, and stabilization.
  • Motivating, deadline-driven work where your documentation, escalation, and readiness tracking help teams move confidently toward go-live.
