Job Title: Automotive Vehicle Operability Engineer

Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Support fleet operations and coordinate vehicle software-update activities to keep vehicles performing reliably.
• Troubleshoot issues and investigate quality concerns, using diagnostics and structured problem-solving to drive clarity.
• Support proving-ground activities and perform root-cause analysis to identify underlying causes and prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate deployments and validate software releases, ensuring readiness and correct behavior in the field.
• Monitor readiness, prepare status reports, escalate issues when needed, and track corrective actions through completion.

What's Needed?

• Experience with Fleet Management and supporting operational vehicle software activities.
• Working knowledge of OTA Updates and the processes involved in software update coordination.
• Proficiency with Diagnostics and troubleshooting methods to investigate issues effectively.
• Hands-on familiarity with CAN Tools for diagnostics and data-driven troubleshooting.
• Strong Troubleshooting skills, including quality investigation and root-cause analysis support.
