Job Title:Automotive Diagnostics Engineer

Location:Auburn Hills, Michigan (Onsite)

Pay Range: $40/hr 

What's the Job?

• Execute automotive vehicle-validation tests according to the validation plan, including ignition-off-draw (IOD), network, regression, and compliance testing.
• Perform diagnostics-focused validation activities to confirm system behavior and identify deviations from expected results.
• Document failures thoroughly and generate validation reports that support engineering decision-making.
• Support root-cause analysis by collaborating with engineering teams to investigate issues and drive resolution.
• Update the DVP and support readiness activities, including verifying implemented fixes and escalating validation risks when required.

What's Needed?

• Vehicle validation experience with a strong focus on test execution and validation documentation.
• Hands-on diagnostics experience, including the ability to interpret results and support troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with CANoe for automotive network and diagnostics validation activities.
• Testing experience across regression and compliance validation workflows.
• Root cause analysis capability, including clear communication of findings and collaboration with engineering teams.
