Full Stack Java Developer (DE)

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer (DE) to join their team. As a Full Stack Java Developer (DE), you will be part of the software engineering organization supporting delivery of complex, high-quality application features. The ideal candidate will have strong server-side Java development experience, a solid understanding of web services and testing practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business stakeholders.

Location:Newark, DE

Pay Range: $60-$65/hr 

What's the Job?

• Develop and deliver complex software requirements that meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
• Write production-ready code and unit tests, ensuring solutions integrate cleanly with overall application and system interfaces.
• Build and maintain web applications and services, including RESTful web services and SOAP services using XML and JSON.
• Contribute to story refinement by helping define requirements and estimating work through the delivery lifecycle.
• Support quality and reliability by contributing to integration, regression, and performance test suites—analyzing results, triaging issues, and identifying root causes.

What's Needed?

• Experience working on high volume applications, including server-side frameworks such as Spring MVC.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA).
• Strong understanding of SOAP web services with XML and JSON, plus experience building RESTful web services.
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as Handlebars, Vue, and ReactJS.
• Unit testing experience with JUnit, along with Git and build tooling such as Maven and Artifactory (Eclipse or equivalent IDE).
