Finance Transformation Project Manager

Our client, is seeking a Senior Finance Program/Project Manager to join their team. As a Senior Finance Program/Project Manager, you will be part of the Finance Transformation & Program Management team supporting cross-functional initiatives across Finance and IT. The ideal candidate will have a transformation mindset, strong program governance discipline, and the ability to partner effectively with Finance leadership and operational teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead complex, cross-functional Finance transformation programs and end-to-end project delivery from definition through execution, adoption, and value realization.
• Drive process-centric initiatives that modernize Finance processes and improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and adoption across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC), and Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Partner with executive sponsors and Finance leadership to define scope, success metrics, timelines, resourcing, and governance for multi-phase delivery.
• Apply structured program and project management practices to plan, execute, monitor, and de-risk initiatives while ensuring upstream and downstream finance impacts are clearly understood.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors; lead change management activities including communication, training, UAT coordination, and operational readiness.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in finance transformation, program/project management, or process-driven initiatives.
• Proven track record leading large, cross-functional programs with measurable results, including process improvement and operational change.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (Green Belt considered with strong leadership experience) and PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with Finance systems and reporting/analytics platforms, with strong ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a matrixed organization.
