Data Analyst 2

Our client, Microsoft is seeking a Data Analyst 2 to join their team. As a Data Analyst 2, you will be part of the Business and Systems Analytics organization supporting stakeholders across Microsoft to help with third-party software and licensing. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated history of success, and a desire to work with data to help businesses make better data-driven decisions, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$46.08

What's the Job?

• Coordinate changes to reporting including Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including testing, implementation, and ongoing data analysis.
• Work with senior management, technical teams, and client teams to determine data requirements and recommend business data implementation approaches and best practices for advanced data manipulation.
• Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes to support reliable reporting and analysis.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions, specifying identifiers for database management systems or directing others in coding descriptions.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems, test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications.

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of experience with data analysis and reporting, including Power BI skills.
• Knowledge of the ETL process and experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows.
• Experience with database technologies and applying database management concepts to support reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language to support data work and automation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
