Packaging Engineer

Our client, Packaging & Consumer Products is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join their team. As a Packaging Engineer, you will be part of the Packaging Engineering team supporting packaging category and brand initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical problem-solving, a detail-focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate across teams and vendors, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Assemble packaging prototypes for consumer testing to help validate design and performance.
• Support the process of managing new tooling development, including coordination and key-date adherence.
• Learn and apply how to push Division + Operations + Vendors to keep launches on track.
• Anticipate and elevate blocking points early to help ensure deadlines and major launches are met.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and become proficient in systems related to packaging specifications & testing.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years of proven experience in package engineering & development desired (cosmetics, consumer goods, or related field preferred).
• Strong PC skills, including MS Office, PowerPoint, and CAD software.
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
• Strong understanding of the packaging production process, with meticulous attention to design details and quality.
