Logistics Analyst

Our client, a leading logistics and transportation organization is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join their team. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be part of the Transportation Services team supporting internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to coordinate complex cases with accuracy and urgency—aligning successfully in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Job Title:Logistics Analyst

Location:Cranbury, NJ

Pay Range: $40/hr - $43/hr

What's the Job?

• Serve as the process owner for service, volumetric, and project analytics tied to the physical flow of products.
• Resolve primary OS&D (Overage, Shortage and Damage) cases by investigating shipment records, proof of delivery, photos, and inspection details.
• Coordinate return, inspection, disposition, claims, and case-status follow-up to drive timely closure.
• Measure carrier, provider, vendor, and customer performance against targets for required service and cost, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Produce routine and ad hoc reporting, including executive/management-level performance reporting and weekly/monthly/quarterly delivered service presentations.

What's Needed?

• 4-year degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain/Logistics preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical competency and understanding of transportation-related processes.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; data visualization competency preferred.
• Working knowledge of transportation, distribution, and broader supply chain concepts; general business acumen.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines while communicating effectively with internal and external partners.
