Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dev Lead / Release Manager to oversee AWS application deployments, release planning, and CI/CD execution across cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS deployment automation, release governance, and software delivery best practices within enterprise-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead application release management activities across multiple AWS environments.
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines utilizing AWS-native services.
Manage release schedules, change controls, deployment validations, and rollback strategies.
Coordinate development, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders throughout the release lifecycle.
Establish software delivery best practices and deployment standards.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational requirements.
Identify deployment risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase deployment reliability and velocity.

Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in software delivery, release management, or DevOps leadership roles.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS CodePipeline and AWS deployment services.
Deep knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and automation frameworks.
Experience supporting cloud-native AWS applications.
Strong understanding of source control management, branching strategies, and release governance.
Experience troubleshooting deployment failures and coordinating production releases.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous Amazon or AWS experience strongly preferred.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
AWS certifications.
Experience leading globally distributed teams.
