Position Title: Custom Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid: Hartford, CT Or Hunt Valley, MD
Duration: 12 Months with possibilities of extension  
Pay Range: $55-60/hr on W2

Job Description:
The client is a company that provides a wide range of insurance products and services to individuals and businesses. 
Responsibilities: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of the product lifecycle. You will apply your knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support the project. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Additionally, you are expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. Expert proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter is required. Expert proficiency in Guidewire Advanced Product Designer is recommended. Advanced proficiency in Design Innovation, GuideWire Integration, and Java is suggested. Lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet client needs. Facilitate team meetings to encourage collaboration and ensure alignment on project goals. Mentor team members to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development team. Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance and user experience.
