AI Software Developer

Our client, an AI enablement and software engineering organization is seeking a AI Software Developer to join their team.

As an AI Software Developer, you will be part of the GPT team supporting full-stack and data exchange development between server-side services and user-facing applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of Node.js and its ecosystem, production-level agent framework experience (LangGraph/LangChain), and strong AWS + REST/microservices fundamentals that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AI Software Developer

Location: South Denver/DTC, CO (onsite during ramp up, then 2 days/week onsite)

Pay Range: $70-75/hour pay, based on experience 

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python, Node.js, and relevant packages/ecosystem.
• Build reliable REST components within a microservices architecture and collaborate with front-end developers to integrate application features.
• Implement and maintain robust non-relational database capabilities, including Postgres and Postgres Vector DB, while ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Integrate LLM capabilities through API integration, including token management, streaming, and gateway/proxy patterns.
• Work extensively in AWS, using Git for version control, participating in agile development, and contributing to CI/CD and automated unit testing.

What's Needed?

• Deep understanding of Node.js, including its packages and ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with strong software engineering fundamentals (code reviews, CI/CD, containerization, shared codebase collaboration).
• Production-level agent framework experience (LangGraph, LangChain) with hands-on building (not just configuration).
• Experience with LLM API integration (token management, streaming, gateway/proxy patterns) and familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar tool-orchestration patterns.
• Strong RESTful API development and microservices architecture experience, plus automated unit testing experience and extensive AWS experience.
