Sr. Electrical Design Engineer II

Our client, a leading aerospace and advanced propulsion technology company, is seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer II to join their team. As a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer II, you will be part of the Electrical Engineering team supporting propulsion systems development and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset that will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $45.00 - $50.00/hour
What's the Job?

• Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing acceptance test procedures for electric propulsion systems.
• Author test specifications and define acceptance criteria based on component-level requirements.
• Design and specify test equipment and hardware used during acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to troubleshoot testing issues and support testing execution.
• Perform engineering and developmental testing to support hardware development activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design and/or electronic hardware testing.
• Experience with electric propulsion systems and power electronics.
• Experience developing technical design documentation, plans, specifications, and test procedures.
• Strong understanding of motors, motor controllers, batteries, battery management systems (BMS), and related power electronics.
