Video Editor

Our client, Media & Entertainment is seeking a Video Editor to join their team. As a Video Editor, you will be part of the Production supporting Creative & Post-Production. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent timing and pacing instincts, and clear communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Video Editor

Location:New York, NY

Pay Range: $40/hr

What's the Job?

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product.
• Work with a variety of media including camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
• Transform raw content into polished deliverables that meet creative and technical expectations.
• Collaborate with the production team to refine edits and support project goals from start to finish.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure consistent version control throughout the editing process.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in video editing and post-production workflows.
• Proven ability to edit and assemble raw footage into a finished, cohesive product.
• Experience working with multiple content types such as dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure timing, continuity, and overall quality.
• Professional communication skills to collaborate effectively with production stakeholders.
