Google Cloud AI Architect

Our client is seeking a Google Cloud AI Architect to join their team. As a Google Cloud AI Architect, you will design and lead GenAI solutions on Google Cloud, partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and production-ready architectures. The ideal candidate will bring strong architecture leadership, practical GenAI implementation experience, and a commitment to documentation and delivery excellence that will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Hartford, CT

What's the Job?

• Design Vertex AI solutions that support real-world GenAI use cases.
• Define Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns to improve accuracy and relevance.
• Establish guardrails to support safe, reliable, and compliant GenAI behavior.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide technical decisions across engineering teams.
• Design integrations and define LLMOps standards, including reusable patterns and operational practices.

What's Needed?

• GenAI Architecture experience with a strong understanding of RAG and guardrails.
• Cloud Architecture experience, specifically building solutions on Google Cloud.
• Stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Agile and SAFe familiarity, with a focus on clear delivery and continuous improvement.
• Strong documentation and delivery excellence, including mentoring engineers and creating reusable architecture patterns.
