IT Business Analyst III

Our client, IT and technology organization is seeking a IT Business Analyst III to join their team. As a IT Business Analyst III, you will be part of the Correspondence Operations and technology delivery organization supporting Agile teams. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a technical mindset that helps translate business needs into actionable requirements and documentation.

Job Title: IT Business Analyst III

Location: Pennington, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension

Pay Range: $56.18/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Serve as a liaison between Correspondence Operations and technology teams by defining, analyzing, and delivering technology solutions aligned to strategic business objectives.
• Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements, translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications for Agile delivery.
• Support testing and implementation activities by partnering with developers, architects, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet both business and technical requirements.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to support delivery readiness, prioritization, and traceability.
• Leverage GenAI tools to accelerate requirements analysis, documentation creation, process evaluation, data interpretation, and solution discovery—while applying sound business judgment to ensure accuracy and quality.

What's Needed?

• 7-10 years of experience as a hands-on business systems analyst on an Agile team, including writing user stories and creating technical design documentation and system flows.
• Experience in Wealth Management.
• Ability to partner with business stakeholders and product owners to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Strong collaboration skills with developers, architects, testers, and business partners to ensure solutions meet business objectives and technical requirements.
• Experience supporting end-to-end delivery by managing requirements traceability from concept through implementation and production support.
