Our client, Enterprise Legal Hold Retention Solution is seeking a Messaging & Collaboration Platform Engineer- Persistent Chat (NC) to join their team. As a Messaging & Collaboration Platform Engineer- Persistent Chat (NC), you will be part of the Engineering organization supporting the Persistent Chat and Messaging & Collaboration platform. The ideal candidate will have tenacity and curiosity, exceptional documentation and problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and methodically, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Messaging & Collaboration Platform Engineer- Persistent Chat (NC)

Location:Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $65-$70/hr 

What's the Job?

• Act as a liaison with Security, Operations, Product, Engineering, Architecture, and vendors to manage the product lifecycle, including fixes, features, and enhancements.
• Own workbook management through Product JIRAs and support backlog grooming and feature release alignment in regular requirements meetings.
• Develop low-level designs that meet bank requirements and security demands for persistent chat applications hosted on Linux.
• Deploy low-level environments and support advanced product testing to ensure readiness for operational transition.
• Ensure non-Strategic Social and Chat products are decommissioned from the enterprise while maintaining accurate, complete technical documentation and hosting training sessions to support new services entering operations.

What's Needed?

• Experience with persistent chat applications such as Mattermost and/or Rocket.Chat hosted on Linux.
• Enterprise-level engineering experience, preferably within financial institutions.
• Strong documentation discipline and problem-solving skills, with continual ownership of technical documentation accuracy and completeness.
• Proven ability to proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risk, including active participation in reviews of requirements for technical feasibility.
• Experience with cloud-enabled instant messaging platforms (e.g., Symphony, Teams, Slack) and deployment of applications to mobility frameworks including MAM and MDM.
