Lab Technician

Our client, Food & Pharma Manufacturing is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the R&D Logistics team supporting Pilot Plant activities and trial execution. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational & planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures and complete tasks with minimal direction, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Bridgewater, NJ

Payrate: $22 - $23/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Accurately preweigh, stage, and prepare raw materials, ingredients, and chemicals for Pilot Plant trials, kitchen trials, and analytical testing.
• Ensure materials are weighed to specification, properly labeled, documented, and delivered on time to support experimental production.
• Update inventory and batch statuses in the system, ensuring in-date, fit-for-use ingredients are staged for the right user group.
• Support sample pick requests promptly and accurately, including systematic movement of materials from inventory to staging areas.
• Maintain functional quality and compliance by following Food Safety and Quality policies, identifying and recording process deviations, and escalating as required.

What's Needed?

• Experience working in a warehouse or production environment within Food or Pharma.
• Knowledge and understanding of GMPs and the importance of adhering to approved procedures.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with a detail-oriented approach to weighing, labeling, and documentation.
• Skilled use of Microsoft Office and comfort maintaining accurate records.
• Reliable, self-dependent work style with open communication and problem-solving mindset.
