PUR Sourcing Associate

Our client, Information Technology is seeking a PUR Sourcing Associate to join their team. As a PUR Sourcing Associate, you will be part of the Procurement organization supporting Sourcing and Supplier Management. The ideal candidate will have strong organization, disciplined time management, and proven contract negotiation expertise which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for assigned project categories (Information Technology) to support business continuity and value creation.
• Establish, manage, and strengthen supplier relationships that deliver cost and service benefits to the corporation.
• Negotiate and establish effective supplier contract agreements, ensuring suppliers are held accountable for competitive pricing, high quality, and best-in-class service.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities for successful integration of sourcing strategies for assigned categories (Information Technology) and alignment with overall sourcing guidelines and processes.
• Lead complex sourcing projects and initiatives with high value and broad impact across the corporation.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 10 years of experience negotiating IT Software Contracts.
• Minimum 4-year degree.
• Strong organization skills to manage multiple sourcing activities and stakeholders.
• Proven time management to meet deadlines in a fast-moving procurement environment.
• Demonstrated contract negotiation expertise specific to IT.
