Our client, internal support operations team is seeking an Azure Cloud Operations Analyst to join their team. As an Azure Cloud Operations Analyst, you will be part of an internal support operations group supporting executive escalation risk management by ingesting and monitoring support tickets, identifying high-risk cases, and proactively engaging to prevent escalations. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to organize complex operational work while collaborating across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Location:Remote (100% remote)
Contract Length: 18 months

Pay Range: $48-$50/hour

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate and manage Azure transition activities, including out-of-policy exception requests, by developing detailed plans and driving technical work through completion.
  • Support complex Azure transitions across multiple purchasing and billing models, including Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), Enterprise Agreement (EA), and Microsoft Customer Agreement for Enterprise (MCA-E).
  • Validate customer and partner subscription, tenant, billing, and required documentation using internal Microsoft commerce and production systems to determine transition eligibility and fulfillment of requirements.
  • Translate complex Azure subscription, tenant, billing, entitlement, and transition requirements into clear, actionable guidance for account teams, partners, and customers.
  • Maintain detailed records and reporting in Azure DevOps (or similar work-management systems), including approvals, customer documentation, engineering actions, request status, and workload tracking.

What's Needed?

  • Microsoft Commerce Platform experience is required; candidates without Microsoft Commerce Platform experience will not be eligible.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Azure tenants, Azure subscriptions, Microsoft commerce, purchasing and billing models, and billing support.
  • Understanding of Azure purchasing channels and agreements, including CSP, EA, and MCA-E.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and commerce concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience maintaining detailed operational records and tracking work through Azure DevOps or similar systems, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
