Our client, is seeking a Microbiology Technician to join their team. As a Microbiology Technician, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting food safety testing and quality-focused analytical work. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a commitment to following procedures, and the drive to contribute to a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

What's the Job?
- Apply aseptic technique in all work conducted to support accurate, contamination-controlled results.
- Prepare and analyze samples for pathogens, indicator organisms, probiotics, and other microbes.
- Perform microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, environmental samples, and other sample matrices.
- Accurately perform testing methods and read testing results, ensuring documentation is complete and clear.
- Complete required training to progress to more complex tasks within the laboratory workflow.
What's Needed?
- BS in Microbiology or a Life Science.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and comfort working with microbiological processes.
- 1+ years of laboratory experience in a commercial food testing analytical laboratory desirable but not required.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 or GLPs desirable but not required.
- General knowledge and experience in microbiological testing desirable but not required.
