FinOps Cloud Solutions Architect

Our client, a global infrastructure and cloud services organization is seeking a FinOps Cloud Solutions Architect to join their team. As a FinOps Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be part of the Infrastructure Services Global Cloud Practice supporting cloud projects and consulting engagements. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on engineering mindset, strong pre-sales and solution design experience, and the ability to translate FinOps Foundation principles into practical, measurable outcomes across multi-tenant cloud environments.

Pay Range: 60/hr w2

What's the Job?

• Lead and deliver public cloud infrastructure migrations for large, global clients, ensuring a high customer satisfaction experience from discovery through execution.
• Build and operationalize IaaS/PaaS cloud landing zones and support technical, commercial, and service elements of cloud migration project engagements.
• Enable customers to act using FinOps Foundation principles across a multi-tenant cloud provider landscape, with a focus on reducing labor input, implementation time, and time to benefit.
• Own solution architecture and engineering activities that integrate FinOps program components, including data modeling, data engineering, and development of supporting integrations.
• Work in parallel across multiple deals, help industrialize delivery processes, and support rapid timelines while proactively managing issues and risks.

What's Needed?

• Pre-sales experience in a service provider environment focused on cloud management and FinOps solutions, including solution design, estimates, and customer proposals.
• Program management experience leading a cross-functional team to deliver a FinOps program using product-oriented methods (roadmap, backlog, measurable outcomes).
• Software development experience using Agile principles (e.g., SDLC, CI/CD, pair programming).
• Data modeling, data engineering, and database management experience (e.g., SQL, Python).
• FinOps Foundation certification (FinOps Certified Practitioner or FinOps Certified Engineer), or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
