R&D Project Manager

Our client is seeking a R&D Project Manager to join their team.  The ideal candidate will have strong project leadership, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end innovation and renovation projects.

What's the Job?

• Lead several R&D projects/programs within Innovation and Renovation Projects across Frozen Foods businesses (Meals, Pizza and Snacking).
• Plan projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with Idea-to-Launch (I2L) and key corporate strategies and commitments
• Orchestrate cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams (R&D, SBU, Zone, Markets) to achieve defined Key Success Criteria and deliver against the business case.
• Manage project stakeholders and negotiate with key internal decision makers and business partners, leveraging internal and external networks to remove barriers and drive decisions.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to key performance criteria and to the satisfaction of key stakeholders, while controlling scope changes through proactive communication.

What's Needed?

• Minimum Bachelor in Science or Engineering (or equivalent) with sound knowledge of project management.
• More than 5 years of project management experience, preferably in R&D and/or Food & Beverages.
• More than 7 years of experience across R&D, Operations, Markets and/or commercial functions.
• Proven track record of strong project management, including the ability to manage parallel and sequential tasks, identify and communicate costs, timing opportunities, and risks.
• Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) certification is a plus.
