Video Game Test Associate

Experis Game Solutions is seeking Test Associates to join their team!  As a Test Associate, you will be part of the Quality Assurance (QA) team supporting game testing efforts across assigned titles. The ideal candidate will have a gamer mindset for spotting issues, strong critical-thinking skills to evaluate gameplay behavior, and clear communication to document findings so the development team can act quickly.

Location:Tempe, Arizona

Pay Range:$15.50/hr
Contract:  3 months with possible extensions

What's the Job?

• Write bug reports for a sub-area of a project or document test results for an assigned test pass.
• Conduct functional testing of games, including smoke, regression, user acceptance, unit, integration, and related test activities.
• Work with development to narrow down bug reproduction cases and scenarios, helping teams get to root causes faster.
• Assist more senior staff with administrative tasks such as meeting notes, database clean up, production requests, coaching, and mentoring.
• Use critical-thinking to identify issues at appropriate times and communicate them accurately to steward game quality.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED; Associate/Bachelors strongly preferred.
• Enthusiastic gamer with interest in a variety of game genres.
• Knowledge of the components of a PC to support effective testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong critical-thinking skills to evaluate gameplay behavior and test outcomes.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
