Our client is seeking an Issue Management professional to lead the intake, documentation, coordination, and resolution of engineering-related issues across all vehicle families and development phases. From validation and HIL testing to PWB and in-market performance (IOP, QFS, IQS, warranty), you’ll act as a central point of contact to ensure issues are properly tracked, communicated, and closed with quality rigor. What's the Job?

  • Lead issue management by driving the intake, documentation, coordination, and resolution of engineering-related issues across all vehicle families and development phases.
  • Serve as the central point of contact to ensure issues identified during validation, HIL testing, PWB, and in-market performance (IOP, QFS, IQS, warranty) are properly tracked and resolved.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment and accountability throughout the engineering lifecycle, including post-production follow-through.
  • Manage data and reporting to maintain visibility into issue status, progress, and resolution outcomes.
  • Prepare glidepaths for issue resolution tickets to show forecast and progress of the team.

What's Needed?

  • Experience with automotive electrical and electronic systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality tools including APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, and PFMEA.
  • Proven issue management skills with clear coordination and communication across engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage data and reporting with accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
  • Experience documenting lessons learned with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement.
