Technical Program Manager
Location: Remote
Pay: $70 - $75/hr W2
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6+ Months
Travel: Up to 10% domestic/international

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level technology programs across multiple global and distributed teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical delivery background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to drive programs from planning through successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end program execution, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple teams.
  • Own execution rigor through effective risk, issue, assumption, and dependency (RAID) management.
  • Establish and maintain program operating rhythms, including program reviews, status reporting, dashboards, and leadership updates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and business functions to remove blockers and accelerate delivery.
  • Track program health, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Improve delivery predictability and throughput by implementing program management best practices, tools, processes, and metrics.
  • Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and key milestones to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with distributed/global teams to ensure alignment and consistent execution.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, delivery, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-team technology programs.
  • Strong experience working with Jira, dashboards, reporting, and execution management tools.
  • Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working across distributed or geographically diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale technology transformation programs, such as:
    • Cloud migrations
    • AI initiatives
    • Platform transformations
    • Enterprise technology modernization
  • Strong experience with RAID management.
  • Experience developing or contributing to Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
  • Experience using KPIs and OKRs to measure and improve delivery performance.
  • PMP, Scrum, SAFe, or similar certification.
  • Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated environments.
