DevOps Engineer

Ready to build secure cloud infrastructure, automate virtual desktop environments, and own the operational foundation that keeps client systems running? Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support infrastructure build-out and ongoing maintenance in a fast-moving Azure environment. From day one, you’ll help stand up and continuously improve personalized Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, strengthen CI/CD delivery, and ensure reliable monitoring and security practices.

Pay Range:$75/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Build and maintain personalized Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments using automation, including installing and continuously patching required software.
• Use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure, supporting the creation and growth of AVD environments (18 AVDs today, expanding to 25 personalized AVDs by September next year).
• Own Azure DevOps support and pipeline operations, including creating and maintaining build/release pipelines and supporting delivery workflows.
• Support and maintain the infrastructure layer for client environments—your focus is infrastructure build-out, operational support, and automation rather than application development.
• Strengthen operational visibility and security by implementing monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, while applying security best practices such as zero trust concepts for identity and access management.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of Azure hands-on experience, with strong familiarity and day-to-day support of Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring and operational dashboards, including Azure Monitor and related tooling.
• Expertise with Azure IaaS/PaaS services such as Application Gateway, API Management, App Service, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, and Azure Front Door.
