Equipment Maintenance Technician

Our client, semiconductor manufacturing operations is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting semiconductor production in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on troubleshooting mindset, strong mechanical and electrical problem-solving skills, and the ability to document work accurately which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment by identifying root causes of failures to protect quality and uptime
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedule and established procedures (MMM)
• Accurately document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and operational data in tracking systems
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Leadership to improve KPIs, increase tool uptime and availability, and reduce PM cycle times and wafer scrap
• Support training and certification of maintenance team members while helping enhance procedures and overall efficiency

What's Needed?

• Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, including vacuum, photolithography (photo), or wet/plating technologies
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Solid understanding of failure analysis and root cause problem-solving
• Working knowledge of control systems and/or PLCs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and tracking systems, plus strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
