Location:Richmond, VA or Charlotte, NC

Pay Range:$60-$62/hr 

What's the Job?

• Identify, assess, and document risks across application support portfolios, ensuring risks are clear, traceable, and actionable.
• Maintain a comprehensive risk register and keep risk information current through structured updates and follow-through.
• Facilitate risk review meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights, analyze potential impacts, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support compliance, internal control, and risk activities by contributing to audits and risk assessments with accurate documentation.
• Provide clear, leadership-ready reporting on risk status, trends, and mitigation progress using strong written communication and reporting discipline.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role supporting risk analysis and audits, with a strong focus on technology risk.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy when documenting risks and mitigation plans.
• Experience performing analysis using Excel, along with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of risk management approaches, processes, tools, and routines, including how to keep risk artifacts consistent and usable.
• Familiarity with technology concepts across infrastructure and applications; exposure to MongoDB and Python is a plus for understanding and analyzing technology environments.
