Our client is seeking a Manager, CX Research and Behavioral Science to join their team. As a Manager, CX Research and Behavioral Science, you will be part of the CX Research and Behavioral Science (CXRBS) Team reporting to the Director of CX Research and Behavioral Science. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer experience research, the ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations, and the drive to measure adoption impact as AI is deployed across the organization—aligning successfully in the organization.

Location: Remote, 10% travel 

Pay Range: $80/hour, w2 

What's the Job?

  • Lead the full research process—from planning and execution to data analysis, insights generation, report writing, storytelling, and defining success metrics—focused on colleague sentiment, readiness, and behavior as AI is deployed.
  • Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (surveys, pulse checks, focus groups, interviews, and sentiment analysis) to understand colleague concerns and readiness, and turn findings into a central resource across programs.
  • Apply behavioral science frameworks (e.g., habit loops, nudge theory, behavior change models) to shape research questions and surface insights that fuel creative problem-solving.
  • Partner with HR, internal communications, and technical AI implementation teams to inform change strategy, personalization, and adoption roadmaps—representing the voice of the colleague in internal discussions.
  • Combine behavioral research with platform telemetry to quantify and track the impact of adoption initiatives, including leading development and tracking of CPIs/KPIs and managing XM questions based on those CPIs.

What's Needed?

  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in customer research, insights, personas, and measurement, including end-to-end product research within cross-functional product teams (from design and recruitment through final deliverable).
  • Strong knowledge of customer research methods (CX research preferred), with the ability to select the right qualitative and quantitative approach for the question at hand.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of modern AI tooling (e.g., LLM-based workflows, prompt and prototyping tools, evaluation and QA methods, and emerging methods such as synthetic personas and digital twins).
  • Experience with storytelling and data visualization, including knowledge of research statistical testing, to communicate findings clearly to varied audiences.
  • Proven ability to synthesize multiple data sources into actionable recommendations that influence business strategy and product decisions, while managing complex projects across matrix teams.
