Vendor Master Data Analyst

Title: Junior Vendor Data Management
Location: Lake Bluff IL  (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
Shift Time: 8am to 5pm
Pay Range : $32/hr to $38/hr (On W2)

We are looking for a “Junior Vendor Data Management“ to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of vendor master data within SAP MDG/SAP.
• The role is responsible for monitoring and improving vendor data quality, identifying and resolving data issues, supporting data cleansing initiatives, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain reliable vendor master data that enables efficient procurement, accounts payable, compliance, and operational processes.
• Review and validate vendor master data in SAP MDG/SAP.
• Identify duplicates, incomplete records, and data quality issues.
• Support vendor data cleansing and remediation activities.
• Analyze data using Excel and SAP reports.
• Create vendor data quality scorecards and reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain vendor hierarchies and related master data attributes.
• Collaborate with Vendor Master, Procurement, and AP teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with SOPs and data quality documentation.

• Qualifications:

• 2 - 5 years of Vendor Master Data or MDM experience.
• Experience with SAP MDG and SAP Vendor Master processes.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, reporting).
• Experience in data quality analysis and cleansing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Knowledge of vendor lifecycle management.
