Technical Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be part of the software delivery organization supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating autonomously, able to balance business and technology priorities, and motivated to drive complex technical work to completion with clear communication and servant-leadership.

What's the Job?

• Oversee and manage software development projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Create project plans by defining scope, setting goals, establishing timelines, and aligning work to project objectives.
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to allocate resources, manage risks, and track progress against the plan.
• Report project metrics, including RAG statuses and project status updates, and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders.
• Lead in an Agile environment with responsibilities that are somewhat similar to a Scrum Master, including servant-leader behaviors and team alignment.

What's Needed?

• 4-year degree from an accredited university or applicable work experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with business and technology teams for a software development company.
• Project management experience, including planning, execution, delivery, and progress reporting.
• Proficiency in reporting progress, status, and alignment to a project plan (including RAG status updates).
• Technical expertise and strong leadership abilities, including analytical thinking to evaluate complex technical situations and make informed decisions.
